Chicago!

Robert really wanted to go to the top of Sears Tower but it was ridiculously expensive and and the line was two hours long.  We settled for playing on the structures in the lobby instead.

Hanging out at Trump Tower and walking along the river.

These gluten free donuts are what dreams are made of.  Well, my dreams atleast!

Our reason for going to Chicago was to visit Northwestern University in Evanston and decide whether or not to apply to their business school.  Campus was gorgeous!  Vine covered old buildings, trees galore, and right next to lake Michigan.

We walked so much downtown that we thought our legs would fall off!  Then we felt like our arms were going to fall off from carrying the boys because they were too tired to take another step.  A quick stop into target for a (shark) umbrella stroller solved half our problem.  A ride on Robert’s shoulders solved the other half.  It was a gorgeous day a fun city.  The giant bean was pretty cool and Andrew and Alex were completely fascinated by it.  The picture on the bottom left cracks me up.  Andrew wanted to be upside down for the picture and was cackling the whole time while Alex was totally uninterested in what we were doing.

On the way out we took a pit stop in Omaha.  Robert’s sister used to live there and suggested going to the Amazing Pizza Machine.  We spent three hours at an all you can eat pizza and ice cream buffet and arcade.  It was an ADHD dreamland and we had a blast!  Robert and I were both in sweats and felt so trashy but turns out, elastic wastebands and buffets go well together 🙂

It was a super fun trip and I am glad to finally have all of those pictures sorted through!
