Alex said he wanted a ninja turtle for his birthday and I went a little nuts 🙂

Turtle Power!

This pile of awesomeness looked a little different in my head but it was full of chocolate and sugar so of course no one cared.

Alex wanted to go to Chick-fil-a for his bday dinner so we drove to the nearest one 40 minutes away only to find out that it was closed due to a power outage.  We drove another 20 minutes to the next closest one.  Because that’s how much we love Alex 🙂  He even got his kids meal for free!

Then we stopped for ice cream at a really good ice cream shop.  I had pumpkin ice cream covered in caramel sauce and it was divine!  On Saturday we drove into the city and went to a super cool museum for a few hours.  Alex loved being the center of attention and getting to blow out candles.  We love our little Alexander Salamander!
