December was a blast!  Here’s the rundown of the fun we had.

Trip Downtown

We rode the double-decker train to downtown Chicago.

The train station at the end of the line was so huge!

 

We wandered around a German Christmas Market before eating lunch and heading back home.

Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, Missouri

This was our pit stop halfway through our EIGHTEEN HOUR DRIVE to Colorado for Christmas.  Waterslides, swimming pools, a nice hotel room, and lots of family time…it was the best!

The boys and I crashed La Jara 2nd Ward’s Christmas Fiesta Party.

After-hour shenanigans at the tire shop.  Lots of blue poweraide was consumed.

Sandee watched the boys while Robert and I went to Albuquerque for Robert’s neice’s sealing to Steve and Annie.

Sunday evening night in bethlehem dinner with the Hostetters.  kids and candlelight dinner was extra entertaining.

Christmas Eve at Steve and Annie’s house.  We did the most roudy reinactment of the nativity ever and ate pizza and watched studio c.

Alex insisted on being the angel because he wanted the wings!

The pajama elves dropped off our christmas jammies while we were at Steve and Annie’s.

They were both really excited that the elves didn’t get them matching jammies and I can take a hint 🙂

We spiced the break up with some bronchitis, vommitting, and 50 cent sonic corndogs.
